How much does an ACD/AYC pump rebuild cost?
A basic rebuild of your own pump is $400. Parts are priced separately and only if your pump needs them — for example a pressure sensor ($120) or an accumulator ($200). Fitting a more reliable Stage 2 motor adds $350.
If you'd rather not wait for your own unit, a ready restored pump from the shop ships straight away, and your old pump can go towards it through the trade-in programme.
Should I rebuild or replace my pump?
For most cars, rebuild. New pumps are expensive and increasingly hard to find, while the usual failures — internal corrosion, worn seals and bearings, a tired motor — are all fixable on the bench. A proper rebuild restores the hydraulic section, not just the motor.
Before you send anything, rule out the cheap causes: fluid, sensors and wiring. The pump failure symptoms guide shows how. Most restored units are turned around in 5–7 days, with a 12-month warranty.
Which pump fits my car?
On the Lancer Evolution one electric pump feeds the ACD (centre differential) and, where fitted, the AYC (rear differential), so the right pump depends on the generation and trim. Every unit below is rebuilt, calibrated and load-tested, with a 12-month warranty and worldwide shipping.
